“you’re so strong” thanks i literally have no other choice
Telling people when your capacity has changed is deeply loving. Start being honest.
I have never experienced abuse that made me stronger. It made me fearful, confused, dysregulated, afraid, detached, addicted, shameful, and apologetic to people who were hurting me. Surviving it did not make me strong. It made me tired.
Manipulation is when you apologize, change your behavior, and they accept the apology and forgive you but then continue to throw it in your face. True forgiveness means moving forward without weaponizing the past. Healthy relationships grow from accountability, not guilt-trips.
the sad reality is, we choose to lose ourselves in order not to lose anyone else.
Until you date a generous man, you’ll never understand how naturally a man loves to provide for the woman he really cares for.
A woman can love you deeply and still leave—especially if you start acting like you’re the prize.
Date your spouse like someone’s trying to take them - because some are. Fill your spouse’s heart with so much love, there’s no space left for love thieves or homewreckers.
One day, I’ll disappear from Twitter without a word and that’s when you’ll scroll through my old posts, wishing you’d cared more.
long term relationships really come with alot of forgiveness .. don’t think u bouta have 3+ perfect years with someone. we all have flaws & toxic traits so find someone u can grow & become better with.
women really be like "I’m not doing well." and then pack the lunches, remember the birthday's, book the doctor appointments, spiral clean the junk drawer, respond to 42 texts, manage the meltdowns and still make something beautiful out of nothing.
It's not the ending that hurts the most,it's knowing you stayed longer than you should have.
They made you feel hard to love, just so you'd try harder to please them. But the truth is you were never the problem.
“You’ve lost your spark.” Maybe it burned out trying to light up people who left me in the dark.
“You don’t talk about your feelings.” What’s the point? No one stayed the last time I did
The more she felt unheard, the quieter she became until silence became her peace
She walked away with tears in her eyes and strength in her steps because staying was slowly killing her.
