Norman Powell was the 6th most efficient scorer in the #NBA among the 68 players who used over 18 possessions per game this season. He shot 45% on movement 3-point attempts and 40% spotting up.

Jay Huff shot 79% at the rim and made 40% of his catch and shoot jumpers in 67 appearances this season while ranking 15th in field goal percentage allowed in the restricted area among the 249 players who defended over 100 shots.
There was a period of time when shooting more threes was enough. As the floor for 3-point attempt rate has risen, there's less of an edge to be gained by TAKING more threes. At the same time, being able to *MAKE* more threes is more important than ever.
The Celtics shooting nearly 55% of their shots as 3s last season is a staggering number... But look at how the NBA's floor for 3-point attempt rate has risen over the past 5-10 years
