On a planet in red alert overshoot- declining birth rates should be applauded as a key sustainability response. Instead business interests (who rely heavily #population growth to grow profits)... whip up panic about them.
Declining birth rates requires Innovation, NOT Immigration ‼️. A healthier environment needs fewer people and therefore less impact on an overstressed planet.
Throughout 99% of human existence a much smaller, stable and/or mildly fluctuating #population was the norm. Today's population explosion is highly abnormal, dangerous and cannot be sustained. population.org.au
