Physicians are "passively" leaving Medicare. It is not reflected in "statistics" as the process is passive. Medicare patients are not given timely appointments or any at all: "The doctor is not taking on New (Medicare) patients." Happening across the US. @DrOzCMS

Medicare is the only “carrier” that has F-16’s and tanks, though. Much greater incentive to walk away from dealing with Medicare than with other carriers. The risks of dealing with Medicare are extreme. GKSMD
Medicare can claw back revenue up to five years after it's booked It can extrapolate from audit samples to establish the amount. 5% error rate can = clawback of 5% of total revenue. Failure to remit 61 days after demand letter=felony, even if amount later found to be wrong.
