Facial Approximation based on LB-1, a Homo floresiensis female discovered at the Liang Bua cave in Flores, Indonesia, dated to approximately 80kya. Dubbed the 'Hobbit' for her estimated height of 3'7, the species appears to be a hominin example of island dwarfism.
Facial reconstruction of a man from the Quxuroba necropolis, Qusar region, northeastern Azerbaijan (400–700 AD). He had an artificially deformed skull and a mixed West–East Eurasian morphology, likely a Hunnic migrant that settled in the area.

Facial reconstruction of a Neolithic Iranian from Ali Kosh. The people of Ali Kosh, like many Neolithic populations in the Middle East, practiced head binding and incisor ablation. The frontal skull image was created based on the structure of the profile skull photo.


Facial Approximation based on Dmanisi 5, a Homo georgicus male found at the Dmanisi site in Georgia, dated to approximately 1.8mya. The Dmanisi hominins are some of oldest fossil human remains found in Eurasia, and resemble a middle point between Homo erectus and Homo habilis.
