I want my freedom of movement back. I want your freedom of movement back. I want EU citizens' freedom of movement back. And I'll happily take Schengen/Euro to make that happen. We won't get the great deal we had before, but whatever we accept will be better than what we have now.
"UK & EU are set for a Brexit reset clash on plans for a new under-30s visa, with Brussels continuing to demand more than the Govt is willing to accept." Old enough to remember when we all had loads of EU rights & none of this horse-trading was necessary. inews.co.uk/news/politics/…
Goldmine Sachs are diverting their attention away from UK & towards EU. I doubt they are the only ones. independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…
Good! Now, if we could just get back our EU citizenship, & all that goes with it, that would be really progress. thenewworld.co.uk/jonty-bloom-we…
I honestly hadn't seen this Guardian cartoon when I posted that earlier 😆🙃 theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

We're at that point where Amnesty is criticising the UK government Utterly surreal, dystopian almost Brexit Global Britain is more like a damp squib
More than 100 non-violent protesters were arrested in UK at the weekend They could receive upto a 6 month sentence simply for wearing a badge or T-shirt, for supporting the work of Palestine Action or 14 years if charged as a criminal offence @Suewilson91 yorkshirebylines.co.uk/politics/crack…

Peaceful protest (charged with terrorism) vs violent progress (slap on the risk). The law is an ass & the Home Office has lost the plot. @BremainInSpain @GeorgeMonbiot

Indeed. Really used to think she was one of the good guys but she seems to have swallowed the Home Office Kool Aid.
So disappointed in @YvetteCooperMP in whom one had had high hopes.
The law that bans protest in support of Palestine Action was brought in hastily & without proper thought for the consequences. This law is entirely the fault of the Home Office, & worthy of the government’s authoritarian predecessors. yorkshirebylines.co.uk/politics/crack… @BremainInSpain

Thugs assaulting police & hotel staff in Essex get a slap on the wrist while peaceful protestors against genocide risk being jailed on terrorism charges. The law is an ass.

The true cost of nationalising water is close to nothing. No one pays full price for bust companies. Very often, they go for £1. Why do ministers keep lying, or are they really stupid enough not to know?
Wow! @SteveReedMP once again claims it'd cost "Upwards of £100bn to Nationalise Water" This is a Lie This figure is from a report funded by the Privatised Water Industry to lobby against Nationalisation Why is a Labour MP regurgitating industry lies?
