After I finish the horror animation I`m currently working on, I`m planning on doing something with these guys.

Closeup of my ghost engine model. I wanted the design to be more realistic while still resembling the TVS model. It was inspired by various illustrations of the twins and Wilbert Awdry`s model of them.

Not Halloween but felt like doing something horror-themed.

For those who wonder how I make my models, I`ll usually start with some inspiration like an old model train or something I had as a kid. I`ll then decide on a set of proportions or draw out a blueprint. I`ll then go into modeling. Thats followed by shading, texturing and rigging.

This was my own take on Thomas`s design. I wanted to make him more stylized and cute.
Hear me out, Ivor the Engine: The movie. You could get the guys who made the Paddington movies on it.

So unfortunately it's raining today so I've had to cancel my trip. Hopefully will get to see this dude soon.
Gonna go photograph this tomorrow! There's also the remnants of an old steam crane which will be interesting. Have to go on a 4 km walk up Table Mountain to reach the waterworks museum where it's kept. Apparently it's in very good condition.
Had this idea for a model of Thomas based on an old toy train.
