Workshop about care pathway for #ovariancancer #patients. Discussed what works in the healthcare system and what could be improved. Before diagnosis, surgery, #chemotherapy, palliative care. Greatful to be working for best interest of cancerpatients and developing care system.

And so the work will begin. This week and weekend I will be in #Ruka working with the World Cup in cross-country skiing, skijumping and nordic combined. It is my 14th year in the race office and I am also responsible for transponders at start and finish on race days.

Meetings with MEPs in the Parliament. I pointed out that we need in Europe better access to medicine overall, we cant depend getting medicine from outside Europe. It is important all memberstates commit to eliminating #HPV associated cancers and to be better in screening. #cancer

Amazing two days at #economistimpact World Cancer series event in Brussels. I got the opportunity to be in a panel and in an interview discussing about patient empoverment and patient advocacy. I highlighted shared decisionmaking and cooperation. #cancer #syöpä #patientadvocate

European Week Against Cancer. All countries in EU must work together to improve access to #cancer medicines, increase participation in screening programs, work for higher #HPV vaccination coverage but also prevent cancer and support those already living with it. #prevention

I had the opportunity to give a lecture for nurses working in oncology unit in Vaasa. It was a real pleasure to talk about patient interaction in healthcare, what cancer patients go through and the different phases of crisis and so on. #patientadvocate #cancer #syöpä #syövänhoito

Today, the Social and Health Policy Committee of the Swedish Assembly of Finland held its final meeting for this term. Member of Parliament Maaret Castren invited us to the Parliament, and we had meaningful discussions about healthcare issues. #healthcare #healthpolicy

Today was an intensive day in Brussels. I woke up at 03am and my flight was leaving at 5.50am. In Brussels we had AIDAVA meeting with us patient consultants talking about the future of the project. Always nice to see everyone again. #aidava #patientadvocate #cancer #syöpä

A lovely evening at #Cancer Gala in Nykarleby. It was a great honor to represent Ostrobothnia Cancer Association and share my cancer story. But most importantly, Stjärnhallen was almost full, and the entrance fee went to Stop Cancer fundraising. Our host was @KajKunnas. #syöpä

Yesterday, Vasa City Council celebrated 150 years with festivities at the City Hall. We made a jubilee decision and enjoyed a performance by the city orchestra. Grateful to be a council member in Vaasa city. Kiitollinen että saan olla kaupunginvaltuutettu Vaasassa.

It has again been an amazing week in #Ruka and the Worldcup. It is so inspiring meeting old friends and also get to new ones. My work at the worldcup is hectic, stressful but as a former athlete (not a skier) I love to be around athletes and beeing in the worldcupbubble.
