Carrasco was not on the Yankees 40-man roster and was in AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He will begin off the Braves 40-man and assigned to the Stripers, and will need to have his contract selected/added to the 40-man before he appears for Atlanta.
TRADE: Braves acquire SP Carlos Carrasco from the New York Yankees in exchange for cash considerations or a PTBNL.

BREAKING: Cleveland Guardians closer Emmanuel Clase has been placed on non-disciplinary paid leave as part of MLB's sports-betting investigation, sources tell ESPN. Clase is the second Guardians pitcher on leave tied to the investigation, joining right-hander Luis Ortiz.

Hunter Stratton is back down to Gwinnett with Fedde being reported and activated.
The #Braves today reported RHP Erick Fedde to Atlanta after optioning RHP Hunter Stratton to Triple-A Gwinnett following last night’s game. Fedde will start tomorrow at Kansas City.
Let’s take a look at Jhancarlos Lara’s Prospect Savant page… That’s a lot of red with a PS score of 99.6. Really the only thing holding him back is those walks. 18.5 BB% is way high, but he is unhittable for the most part.
