Doing the right thing, rising above cynicism and despair, and seeing the good in others isn’t always easy, but it’s always imperative. That's what @superman is about. And that's why the character can help us unite, just like @jamesgunn wanted. #Superman news.fairforall.org/p/can-james-gu…
Released today: Anyone who is opposed to shutting people up by force is bound to be faced with arguments that suppressing speech isn’t so bad after all. But these arguments were considered and rejected decades ago, and this is a perfect handy guide on how to answer them, by a…

Yes, “woke AI” is a real problem. But “anti-woke AI” designed to flatter power isn’t the answer either. Truth-seeking requires pluralism, not partisanship. We need AI built on challenge, not conformity.
Trump’s new executive order on “unbiased AI” calls for truth-seeking and ideological neutrality. Good goals. But when the government gets to define those terms, the risk is trading one orthodoxy for another.

This is awesome to hear. #Comics
We've had billion dollar comic movies drop and didn't see a soul in here looking for comics to go along with it. But since @JamesGunn's Superman dropped, it's been non-stop. Single issues, collected editions, action figures. You name it. Superman is cool again.
“If the Epstein scandal teaches us anything, it is that America needs a dedicated and decently funded group of people whose job is not just to ask questions, but to find answers,” @helenlewis writes. “Let’s call them journalists.” theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/…
The tragedy of our comedy is that it's a tragedy. The comedy of our tragedy is that it's a comedy.
We often focused on the reasonableness standard for defining cancel culture, i.e. were the consequences disproportionate with the alleged infraction. I think this is a fine way to define things in general but I'm not sure it gets at the heart of cancel culture.
Damn. RIP to one of the realest real ones ever. news.sky.com/story/ozzy-osb…
Cultish and cringe-inducing. Also, insane.

The White House is explicitly saying it can kick out of the press pool any publication that doesn’t bow and scrape to the president’s whims. This is nothing but a blanket confession that the administration is retaliating for news coverage that displeases the president — and it is…
Today would have been my dad’s 74th birthday. This season carries gravity. Father’s Day, his birthday, and the anniversary of his passing all fall within 60 days. For me, grief has no straight path. It revisits, reshapes, and rises when I least expect it. But alongside it…
I got so tired of debunking the same 10 arguments against free speech over and over… I finally said, “Fine. Nadine and I will just put the answers in one place.” That place is called The War on Words. It’s out TODAY.
Zero. It's Jerry Springer for 2025. That's why it isn't Hasan vs Sam Harris, or Douglas Murray, or even more competent YouTubers or Substackers. They get the most juvenile people & put them on the most juvenile program, & the hatewatch numbers will surge.
I wonder to what extent these Jubilee producers think they have a responsibility to the general public...
