When you’re laying in bed, hoping to catch at least an hour of sleep, and you get a notification on your outdoor camera that a flash just happened in front of the camera and you look in it’s a giant cluster of sprite.

Has anyone else ever captured Sprites going from top to bottom towards the thunderstorm? Most videos we see are usually the sprites appearing from a flash then gone like in my second clip but the first clip I’ve never seen before. #mowx @PaulMSmithphoto

Check out this gorgeous red sprite last night that was about 180 miles away that was associated with the Kansas City MCS! I slowed it down for you guys could also see the detail and structure of the sprite! #mowx @PaulMSmithphoto
