If this post gets flooded by low-effort bot replies, take it as proof that $AMC poses a systemic threat to over-leveraged short positions. The algorithm doesn’t panic unless there’s something to protect.
Don’t look for excuses on why $GME or $AMC been poppin slightly recently. The real reason: Over-leveraged donkey shorts.

Netflix $NFLX and AMC $AMC both have floats of around 450 million shares — but that’s where the similarities end. Netflix trades at a staggering $505 billion market cap, while AMC sits at just $1.5 billion. One is priced for perfection. The other is priced for extinction. And…
correction... Your $GME short sellers @ryancohen
Your shareholders @ryancohen
It's not interesting when $AMC and $GME are controlled the way they are but they both are seeing higher highs and higher lows which controlled or not is bad for short sellers.
If I never ask to "borrow" your car, never pay to rent it, and instead break into your garage, take your car without you knowing, sell it on the open market, and just promise to bring it back someday — does that sound like borrowing, or does that sound like stealing?
Short sellers: Imagine you buy something. Someone steals it from you. Sells another to you for cheaper. Now that thief wants to buy back both off you for cheaper.
Just a clarification. No announcement yet on earnings.

They just trying to get Robin laid.
Superman needs his ass kicked for this
Yes, shorts made money on the way down — no argument there. But did they close out and walk away with those profits? No. Let me break it down: If I buy 1 item at $1 and sell it for $100, I’ve locked in $99 profit. Great. But if I then buy 3 more at $100 thinking it’ll keep going…
Remember how boring and low it gets before a pop. They want to show the chart starting from peak but wont show the chart prior to pop. Why do you think that is? Fact is, shorts aren’t holding their shorts at peak but rather from down here. $AMC
