Fair play to Dr Searle: she has taken so seriously the instruction not to follow the evidence of the tribunal case that she has not read any news reports in the last two months.

Lovely to see NHS Fife going that extra mile to help staff members with the despair they may well be feeling at having them as their employer.

“I think my first day as chief press officer at NHS Fife went pretty well. Can’t wait to get back to my inbox on Monday!”
Things just got a lot worse for NHS Fife
Can anyone on Property Law/related disciplines Twitter recommend a good textbook (erring towards basic/introductory) on planning law?
I’ve attended a cycling event in an attempt to address fitness concerns & get back into cycling. I’ve not gone with friends, as I need to preserve dignity in infirmity. I’ve all the gear & a saddle bag of sweets. Sadly, as the 25k event is full of kids, I look like a predator.
News of a remarkable technical breakthrough has just landed: “First ever Tweet is delivered 30 years after posting and, oddly, 19 years after launch of network. (In addition to MPs owning up to this, all media could finally join in too.)
At some point, the Chancellor is going to have to go before the country and tell the truth - that our system of American taxes with Scandinavian services is not sustainable. That, finally, we have actually run out of other people's money. But Reeves doesn't want to do that.…
I suspect lawyers know this, but I thought I’d give a warning about AI dangers. Out of curiosity, I clicked the “summarise document” feature on Adobe. I was told it was a 5 year renewable lease, £100k rent, terminable on 30 day notice. All hallucinated; document was CPSE replies.
I am watching 28 Days Later again. What I’d forgotten, and which now seems unfortunate and ominous, is that the whole outbreak was let loose by well-meaning zealot activists. Folk thinking they are doing good in the face of a “wrong” they did not fully understand. #JustSayin
Bloody Hell, BBC radio 4 news has lost the plot: led with 15 full minutes on US personnel issues; followed up with 9 more 31 minutes into the show. The BBC needs to either fix or wrap up its news output. Low value cackling. No insight. Little utility.
If you are going to manipulatively pull on the heart-strings of the national religion by accusing a party (any party) of “NHS-killing” it would probably be best not to have voted for assisted dying in the Old Folk (Financial Inconvenience & Good Vibes) Bill.
If you're considering voting for the merry band of chaotic NHS-killing millionaire grifters that make up Reform this week, get in touch, I have a bridge to sell you...
People are having a go at HY here but his questionable list of historical firsts demonstrates he is truly Scottish.#FactsOnATeaTowel
What have Muslims done for us? It's our fault maths is hard, we invented algebra. That caffeine addiction you have. Our fault too. A sufi brewed the first batch of coffee. We developed mechanical clocks, discovered optics & founded the world's first university, and much more!
I think AI and advertising have gone too far when The Trainline starts to offer alternative destinations.

Two great features of a new job. Short commute; Only three emails to deal with.
