I’m a writer. I write fiction. I also write about the death penalty, justice reform, reggae & much more.
🥁 I’m gonna keep beating this drum. Link: churchnewspaper.com/an-abomination…
Alabama is still the only state that has used the controversial method. montgomeryadvertiser.com/story/news/cri…
In case you missed it, Alabama is scheduled to gas-torture another human being in one month. This is a free link to the essay I wrote—and republished in Alabama—after Alabama’s last execution: when “Alabama savagely gas-tortured a 5th man to death.” 🆓link:blogs.timesofisrael.com/alabama-savage…
🗣️It’s too bad more people in America—and world writ large—aren’t stopping Alabama from turning The United States into a country that lawfully gasses humans to death. Alabama has gas-tortured 5 people since Jan 2024; the next gassing is in a month on 8/21. usatoday.com/story/opinion/…
FYI As I posted about yesterday, in a world full of problems, one intractable problem no one at all seems willing and/or able to try and stop: Alabama keeps torturing humans to death with nitrogen gas. Its 6th nitrogen-gassing torture is set for August 21. montgomeryadvertiser.com/story/opinion/…

Alabama has another gassing in 35 days. montgomeryadvertiser.com/story/opinion/…
Something tells me: Not too many people in America—or anywhere else—are thinking about how Alabama has literally tortured 5 men to death with nitrogen gas, and it has 2 more men on deck scheduled for the same. In fact: Alabama’s next gassing is in 35 days. montgomeryadvertiser.com/story/opinion/…
Damn shame about that Florida execution today; it’s the 8th in Florida in 2025 tying a record set in 1984 and 2014 for the most executions Florida has ever had. I insist “We have to do so much better if we want to be a better country, and a better people.” montgomeryadvertiser.com/story/opinion/…
🚥Irie news #reggae fans: I just submitted @reggaevibesnl—for publication—my interview of veteran sound engineer Trevor McDonald who, among other accolades, was Jimmy Cliff’s sound engineer for 10+yrs. This is a photo of Jimmy with Trevor standing in the middle behind him. Bless!

I’m still taking your suggestions for questions I should ask the legendary Sister Nancy this Saturday. Bless up. #reggaepaparazzi
🗣️Greetings. Not sure this platform has anyone interested in #reggae. If I’m wrong see my last post—for my historic interview of Niney the Observer and, also, I’m scheduled to interview the legendary Sister Nancy 7/26. Let me know if you have a question you’d like me to ask her!
🗣️ Lots of bad news out there—I know. One bit of good news I received is my illustrator for this story (see below post ⬇️) has finished his illustration and the sequel to “Cloverdale Park (Love After Death)” will be published in Alabama’s best newspaper on Aug. 3. I’ll post it!😀
Sometimes I write short stories. Recently I wrote a sequel to a story I published in Dec. 2023 in Alabama’s best and most historic newspaper—the @MGMAdvertiser—called “Cloverdale Park (Love After Death).” The sequel is in the publication process. ICYMI: yahoo.com/entertainment/…
When things fall apart in society it’s not always easy to identify the breaking points—what decisions were made, what conduct was tolerated—that allowed mankind to descend so far. blogs.timesofisrael.com/alabama-savage…

🚥‘Nuff respect every time @Selectajerry and @sotcreggaeradio . Thanks for retelling this story about Mykal Rose on your show—as it was told to me by Niney the Observer in my recent interview of Niney for @reggaevibesnl! If you missed the interview, see the post ⬇️ below. Bless!
Niney the Observer is one of the most important and influential legends in reggae and dub music. On June 13, I interviewed Niney for about 75-minutes; Niney & I discussed many, many subjects of interest to reggae fans and reggae historians alike. Check it! reggae-vibes.com/articles/2025/…

P.S.A. 📣: In Jan 2024, after Alabama’s first execution conducted by nitrogen-gassing, I published “Alabama torture outrage muted and unconscionably insufficient.” Alabama has since gas-tortured 4 more men, and it has 2 more scheduled gassings left in 2025.yahoo.com/news/alabama-t…
