Stopped off in lovely #Winchelsea on the way home. Saw the grave of comedian Spike Milligan. He wanted the stone to say "I told you I was ill" but the church would not allow this. However it is there - just in gaelic. And looking back along the main street, you can see Dungeness.
A nice if blowy walk today along the shingle of the Costa del #Dungeness with it's scenic nuclear power station.
View from top of #DungenessLighthouse with @RHDR train leaving Dungeness station. 169 steps to the top but worth the climb.

A lovely trip on a tiny steam train @RHDR It was a bit cosy even for me but I loved it.
A super day for a visit to @PetworthNT Just the grounds obviously but lovely all the same.
A rather lovely production of Oh What a Lovely War tonight @BOATheatre The weather forecast was awful but in the end there were just a few spots of rain. And the show went on magnificently.

Tonight, join @StephensLDN for "A Night on the Tiles" a virtual tour of London's tube stations and the fascinating history of their design. Book at footprintsoflondon.com @YourLondonWalks

Celebrating the winter solstice. Bonfire and fireworks on Brighton beach after Burning the Clocks parade tonight.
Today in Oxford Street by John Lewis. Seems like #SantaClaus is coming to town.
A great show tonight from @clareteal @stgeorgesbris Started off a regular show but got more Christmas as the show progressed. And it's still November!
