There is no automatic connection between government spending and inflation. Any spending can be inflationary. What matters is the price paid, and whether that price is continually being bid up to cause inflation. The quantity of money in circulation may increase as a consequence.
Bad news for ~24 million Americans. “Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Illinois wants a 27% hike, while its sister Blue Cross plan in Texas is asking for 21%. The largest ACA plans in Washington state, Georgia and Rhode Island are all looking for premiums to surge more than 20%.”
