THE US IS TRYING TO PASS A CENSORSHIP LAW SIMILAR TO THE ONE IN THE UK ‼️ It allows the government to censor anything they want to online This includes LGBT, adult content, etc Speak up about this and call your local representatives / senators!!! We cannot let this pass.
Americans: Please be vocal about what’s happening in the UK with free speech and adult content. Brits have supported us in measures like getting the ACLU’s attention, let’s support them in their own fight. This is a global free speech issue
I need people outside of the UK who think its only "Gooners" who are mad over this new ID law to understand that the Online Safety Act doesn't just apply this authoritarian horseshit to porn, its ANYTHING that can be vaguely classed as "adult". Violence, alcohol, drugs etc.
The UK literally pulling a wanking licence joke on everyone unfortunate enough to live here and US card companies having a say in what can and can't be profitable is genuinely unsettling, very nervous about the future.
