Whilst the reasoning behind changing well known brand name of WH Smith to TG Jones may make sense at board level, it feels reminiscent to us of WPP replacing great agency names with VML.

Before AI became omnipresent it thrilled with possibility. Google Flip from 2020 is a great example. It used AI to quickly & easily reformat landscape footage into square or horizontal.

Ogilvy is laying off around 5% of its global workforce. That about 700 employees. Wonder if the savings will help cover the astronomical amount of money the agency spent on Cannes this year?
