🗳️ Polling Day in Year 3! Our young voters took to the ballot box today to elect their representatives for Pupil Parliament. A fantastic opportunity to learn about democracy, leadership, and having a voice in school life. Well done to all our candidates and voters!

Huge thanks to @arctheatre @NatAtArc for delivering their Unlimited Programme at SRS last week. The workshop and performance were powerful & thought-provoking. It was a valuable opportunity to explore important themes around awareness, resilience, and critical thinking.

Reception have been busy spreading hope & joy! As Jubilee Pilgrims of Hope, they shared beautiful words of hope, friendship, kindness, love, joy & peace as a message in bottle. They also made Earth globes, a reminder that we are all individuals of hope, united in faith and love.

12th July was he United Nations International Day of Hope, a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can spark big change. Our community stands together in hope, joy, and love.

Year 5 Art Club have been busy finishing their clay pieces and trying a new medium of stippling coming up with their own designs.

Year 6 got the final chance to meet with Lulu our Therapy dog before they head off to secondary school in September 🐶 @themayhew

Our Eco Council presented a special screening of the Brent Eco and Sustainability Film, which some of our children feature in. They also opened their Eco Refill Shop which also sold herbs grown in the school garden @Brent_Council

Our Team of Year 5 & 6 Gaelic Footballers at the ABCs today. The team were made of players from several London clubs - Taras, Parnells, Tir Chonaill Gaels and St. Kiernan's. They played exceptionally well and had a great day.

A special visitor joined 3S today, Mr Carey, who spoke about his work as a coastal engineer 14 years ago! His insights helped bring our learning about coastal conservation to life, showing us why protecting our coastlines is so important.

🌱 Our most dedicated young gardeners had a special treat today, they got to taste the very first ripe cucumber from the garden! Safe to say, it was a hit! 😄 The courgettes are coming along nicely too! #SchoolGarden #GreenThumbs #FreshFromTheGarden #OutdoorLearning

🎨🐾 Over the past two weeks, Art Club has been busy sculpting & painting animals inspired by how they move! From slithering snakes to soaring birds, the children brought their favourite creatures to life in clay, then added colour and personality with paint.

A group of children visited the Tennis British Open at Roehampton today. As you can see they have an amazing day! Thank you to the @the_LTA for organising such a fabulous event.
