An amazing afternoon at 10 Downing Street Reception for Local Sport Champions with Rt Hon Lucy Frazer KC MP Sec of State for Culture, Media and Sport recognising our School Games Platinum Award, sporting achievements and high quality PE provision at St Patrick’s. What an honour!

KS2 brought the ENERGY to their Sports Day. They displayed a huge array of skills when jumping, throwing and running. Huge well done to all our Year 3, 4 and 5 children. Thank you to Year 6 for leading and supporting all our Sports Days. @BPS_Trust

KS1 Sports Day was SMASHING! The children ran, jumped and threw for gold displaying an array of athletic skills built over the academic year. Amazing work Year 1 and Year 2! @BPS_Trust

Our EYFS Sports Day was a brilliant display of teamwork, sportsmanship and bravery! The children were OUTSTANDING and loved every second. Thank you Mrs Cheetham and Mrs Chandler!

Well done to our Year 4 and Year 5 Orienteering Teams who enjoyed an afternoon at Batley Sports Centre using their map reading skills to find different stations across a large area.  Some brilliant teamwork on display! @SGNKssp @BPS_Trust

Well done to our Y5 boys football team who competed in the @BPS_Trust finals. They worked hard in a tough semi final against eventual champions St Mary’s. Another tense play off against Holy Spirit finished a draw and the boys lost out in a penalty shoot out. Brilliant effort 👏

Well done to our KS2 girls football team who competed in the @BPS_Trust finals today. They competed valiantly in the semi final against Holy Spirit losing 1-0. Another tense play-off match against St Mary’s finished 1-0. The girls efforts this year have been commendable 👏

A brilliant afternoon at the PSC Boys Football Tournament @sjfdewsbury. 16 boys from UKS2 battled admirably in a tough completion ⚽️St Pats A came so incredibly close in the final finishing 2nd and St Pats B were fantastic and came 4th. Such a pleasure to accompany the boys!

Well done to the St Patrick's pupils who have won this trophy for the second year running! Amazing work boys!

Huge well done to our Year 4/5 representatives in the Fishers 5 Tag Rugby Competition at SJF. The children were resilient throughout! The boys were unbeaten and crowned champions! The girls came a close 2nd and were involved in some very tight games! @sjfdewsbury 🏉📷🌟

A great afternoon with @BatleyNinjas and @SGNKssp for our some of our Year 5/6 girls. They developed their batting and fielding skills by completing different activities as a group. Well done girls!

11 of our KS1 children had a great time at Tuesday's KS1 Multi Skills Event @SGNKssp They experienced a range of different sports and enjoyed working hard as part of a team!
