St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Eltham. 'Nurturing Our God Given Talents' Respect, Resilience, Love, Truth, Mercy, Faith
The EcoExplorers wanted to thank our wonderful School Traffic Patrol Officer Colin for keeping all of our families safe everyday as we cross the road. We shared a special lunch together in the library and played some games too. Colin is the Pop Up Pirate Champion!
Year 4 learnt about aqueducts today then designed and built our own. All pupils demonstrated resilience and respect as they cooperated and improved their channels and supports.
The Y5 and Y6 children visited the Almshouses to sing songs from their production, Revolting Children, to the residents.

Class D explored Switzerland for their International Day! The children loved playing traditional games like Rolling the Cheese and Cows and Bells, and even gave a Swiss dance a go!

Four of our children took part in the Primary Bee French Competition in the University of Cambridge on 1st July. The whole day was a wonderful experience for them.

The Y3 children, looking splendid in their Frist Holy Communion outfits, led the Mass for St Peter and St Paul at Christchurch.

After caring for their tiny caterpillars and watching them change into beautiful butterflies, class D released them from the net house to explore the world and beyond. Reception and Nursery were invited to share this magical moment.

In PE, class D enjoyed practising their hockey skills and teaming up for some fast-paced, fun-filled games!

Y4 had a thouroughly interesting talk by Charlotte Mullins, art critic and broadcaster, on the works of Yinka Shonibare.

Y2 children had a hands on lesson in fossils and dinosaurs.

The Y5 children took part in a fantastically practical workshop on bike maintenance.

Children from Y5 had a marvellous visit the Shakespeare Globe Theatre. A powerful symbol of British history, literature, and cultural identity.
