Important community meeting organised by Transform Tulse Hill tonight. Outline of the serious safety issues Tulse Hill Gyratory System continues to pose. A packed room of motivated residents with some great ideas for moving forward.
Thank you so much @transformTH for organising this evening’s community meeting on how we fix the Tulse Hill Gyratory. Looking forward to working together to ensure we get the change we need!

Tonight is the night! Looking forward to meeting members of our community at 7pm at the former Salvation Army Hall at 246 Norwood Road - it's time to fix the gyratory! Everyone welcome @TheNorwoodForum @StationTStation @OlgaFitzRoy @betterstreetswd @LambethLivingSt @StMartinsLab
Please do come to this meeting if you want to be part of a community campaign to improve the dangerous & outdated Tulse Hill Gyratory in St Martin’s ward.

Great to visit @HighTreesCDT at Tulse Hill Adventure Playground with @jp_sw9 to see work underway on the new adventure play space and mini-city farm. A brilliant community-led project supported by @lambeth_council - creating space for free, active, outdoor play 🛝
Exciting updates from Tulse Hill Adventure Playground! ✨The build is now fully underway with new poles and structures going up every day 🛠️ We were also thrilled to welcome Councillors @benkind and @jp_sw9 to see the work in progress 🙌 Can’t wait to see it all come together -…
Today @ Full Council I asked @RezinaChowdhury to support Cllrs in inviting @TfL @willnorman & @SebDance to meet residents in St Martin’s & update them on plans for the Tulse Hill Gyratory, & so they can see this dangerous piece of road first hand. We appreciate your support.
We are keen for @SebDance to come back to Tulse Hill to meet with us - thank you to @OlgaFitzRoy and @helenhayes_ for continuing to push for action to tackle the safety issues around the Tulse Hill gyratory system
We committed in the May election campaign to making the Tulse Hill gyratory a top priority, and this accident shows that this has never been more urgent. In December we organised a walkabout with @SebDance @TfL & local residents & leaders (3/5)
Lambeth Labour sees every new council home delivered as the life of a family transformed. We are determined to continue to deliver new affordable homes for Lambeth residents, despite the Green Party’s best efforts to block them. Politics is about choices.
🏞️ The ugly new build on Central Hill destroys the iconic ridge line, erasing public skylines and community character. Our green horizons deserve protection, not concrete, prison-looking buildings. #CentralHill #ProtectOurRidge
We’re asking Lambeth residents to provide additional watering to newly planted street trees and those on estates in the borough 🌳💦 Our contractors regularly water them, but due to the extended hot and dry periods, more help is needed 🫶 Learn more brnw.ch/21wU4gZ
📢 One year of a Labour government and here’s what we’ve delivered: ✅ 4M+ extra NHS appointments and 10-year plan published, ✅ GB Energy launched, ✅ Trade deals secured, ✅ Workers’ rights uplifted, ✅ Triple Lock protected. And that’s just the start.
Since 2023, we have planted 1851 new trees in our streets, and they: 🌿 Embed into the kerbside to keep pavements accessible 💧 Include drainage channels 🛡️ Include root barriers to protect surfaces and underground utilities Learn more 👉 brnw.ch/21wTUvg
It’s open! The Hubbard Road entrance to West Norwood Cemetery. Making the cemetery more accessible to the community, and creating a lovely new walking route for #GipsyHill residents to discover this local gem 🌳 Very proud! ❤️ @WNCemetery @LambethLabour @lambeth_council
St Martins is adjacent to West Dulwich and many residents travel through the Tulse Hill Gyratory daily. We fully support a major redesign to transform this area, as we hope will many others 💚
We wrote a joint letter from all St Martin’s elected representatives to @SadiqKhan today, asking @TfL to commit funding to the Tulse Hill Gyratory redesign works in order to make our residents safer and transform the area.
This is helpful. We really need TfL to prioritise action on Tulse Hill gyratory.

Following the decision to proceed with the closure of Fenstanton School, we wrote to cabinet member @benkind regarding the future of both the school and site. We stand ready to support families impacted and are pushing for this site to continue as an educational facility.
