I have backtracked in my revisions 3 times in almost as many days, having to delete 80%+ of changes I had made. I am 99% sure I am on the right track now & managed to add almost 1k words in 2.5 hours (this is a lot for me). Started on chapter 22 today, ended on 18. Progress!🙌🏻

I've revised 8 chapters over the last few days... decided tonight that I don't like one of the changes and will be going back through and changing everything again 🫠🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

Revised 5 chapters today for my debut and made notes for 3 more chapters I'll be working on tomorrow! (Revisions are for a single new thread being woven in)

Currently hiding a hidden identity even more while at the same time making him known...😅

To kick off our weekend, our daughter was hugging our puppy when he got overly excited to see our cat...the puppy squirmed quickly and headbutt her...chipped her tooth.🫠🤦🏻‍♀️ Thankfully, it is a tiny chip. It is an adult tooth though. *sigh*

Checked one (medium sized) item off my revision checklist! Extended a scene by almost 1k words! Will start the more extensive revision tomorrow. It's only extensive in that the addition will weave through the whole book. It will help elevate one of my top 2 favorite scenes!

It's a writing day...which means my house is cleaner today than it has been in a while.

I just got my edit letter from my editor/publisher for The Ghost of Avalon 😱😭🥳 The instant nausea that arrived with my offers has returned. It feels huge! It IS huge! I am overwhelmed (in a good way). #publishing #theghostofavalon

Just received another #smallpitch request, but unfortunately cannot submit due to geographic restrictions. It is still an honor to know they enjoyed my pitch. So to that press I say thank you!!!

Was able to squeeze time in for my WIP tonight and I am humbly impressed by it every time I work on it. I can see my growth as a writer across every page and line I create in a way I'm not sure I have with any of my finished projects. It's a really nice feeling.
