Good to see a Dunkirk little ship in port today. This one saved 900 people during the evacuation.

This is brilliant from Sir Starmer & the Granny Harmers @GrannyHarmer. A parody of Mud's Lonely This Christmas, it's called Freezing This Christmas. He notes "up to 4,000 pensioners will die this winter." A fantastic 3 minutes.

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, We will remember them

Today is Merchant Navy Day, a chance to remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Proud to have served under the Red Ensign, and followed in their wake.

Happy Battle of Britain Day.🇬🇧 A day to remember, and be thankful, to all those members of the R.A.F. who made the ultimate sacrifice. "Never in the field of human conflict ,was so much owed by so many to so few "

Good morning to you all on Merchant Navy Day. A day to remember the Merchant seamen who died in the service of their country. Over 14,000 in WW1, and over 40,000 in WW2. I'm proud to have served under the "Red Duster" in their wake, God bless them all
