I remember him when I was a medical student and him as a masters student at Makerere, he used to own a portable Ultrasound scan and he would move around with it on obgy ward. This he used to do scans on pregnant women hence helping to make quick diagnoses. I found this very…
The paradox in human relationships is that the deeper the love, the more painful the loss. For loving and bonding too deeply, you enjoy the relationship intensely for as long as it lasts. Yet, the price to pay is the pain when the inevitable separation comes. You hurt more than…
“… When my father died, I was only 13 years old. And at my mother’s passing, I was only 17. Perhaps it is due to the healing effect of time that I feel that the pain of my brother’s death has been incomparable to any other…” observer.ug/viewpoint/the-…
A gentle, kind soul we still celebrate. An icon we lost! He’s tremendous efforts in changing the face of surgery in Uganda live on through all those he trained, led & healed.
Powerful! Was a good footballer back in time, e Kirimya kukwe Gulama. We used to hang around him nga ayambala - white Adidas boots, blue sox and big shin-guards. Fare thee well, John. 🙏
He was our family Doctor for years. From his first place next to Florida hotel to when he expaded, I saw it all. His calmness alone wa therapeutic.

With his life I have a baby girl 😍. He had miracle hands. Keep resting with the angel kojja Kiggundu 😇
John was passionately obsessed with medicine. Unlike some of us, he knew what he wanted to become very early in life. In high school, when they started dissecting frogs in Biology, he hunted for frogs everywhere like a madman. In the exercise, which I found awful, he was already…
My experience with him was when my brother was admitted at Henrob, while I rushed to get the money. My mother said relax, we are being treated and Doc says we can pay in instalments until the patient is ok. There was never pressure to pay before treatment. GOD bless his children

We last met at our village home He was wearing this cap I asked him to sell it to me He smiled and jested “You can’t afford it I bought it from Spain” The following day When he saw me He took it off his head And said: ‘You can take it’ Little did I know That was the Good bye…

Whoever made this, thank you! I love the song, and the love you invested
