Harpsher is over one month old and holding up well, his girlfriend Roupen too who refuses to mate with him. They often like to team up together and try to escape their enclosure like assholes. (This post is for the Harpsher lovers)
Breaking news: Vestral the female stag beetle has managed to live one month and three days, more than the average stag beetle! Let's hope she'll live even more maybe i'll take her with me to the beach!🌟 (No the rhinestones do not harm her. She's marked)
Amurg the beetle died due to old age and health issues. Her rhinestone style will not be repeated on other beetles due to the glitter not being UV reactive and harder to see from far away. She was found unhealty, i gave her more time however❤️
Weigh the grubs. What kind of grubs do you think these are? Type in the comments! These grubs were both found under a large rotting tree stump, their siblings obv being inside of the stump while they ventured outside so i caught them to grow them myself.

TW: BUG GUTS Shitty disection on badly hatched Protaetia. I initialy thought the ones with a smooth anal plate would be females...guess not. The whole purpose of this disection was finding out the sexual dimorphism. Success!
