Finished watching anelkas madrid season and he was 10% of the player from 98/99, wenger got him playing the best footy of his career but he looked completely lost at real. The difference confidence makes is insane (combined with bergkamp feeding passes of course)
Yep scored some huge goals in the semis. I'm making a comp atm of his younger years and gonna watch through his madrid era which I've heard is a stinker, surely has a few goods moments though I'm hoping

Love that Tierney got a last goal yesterday, a top player still when he's fit. Always put in a shift, an unbelievable crosser as well. A shame his injuries stopped him fulfilling the career he deserved but nothing but respect for the guy
Can't fault tonight's performance we gave it everything. Didn't think we'd make it this far after January, just end this season and have a proper transfer window, no excuses any more if we're serious about winning
