I've been experimenting with combat a lot in my new game. It's been a big challenge trying to see what direction I should take things. I think I've been overcomplicating it, but I also don't want it to be too simple. It's been a lot of prototyping and scrapping 😵‍💫

Sorry if I don't share much on the new game for a lil bit. I've hardly had the time to work on it lately because I'm still super busy with moving into our new place 😭

Not sure if I'm loving this effect, but I made it so enemies turn red as their attack charges up. It makes it easier to time your dodge rolls, so if anything I'll keep it as an "easy mode" setting or something like that 👀

Creating SFX for my new game is proving to be a real challenge 😅 I'm by no means a professional sound designer. Kinda just doing what I did with Smushi and mix/modify samples I record or find. It's really satisfying when you get it right though!
