For example, I deployed a service a couple of hours ago with API Shield and it blocks these because they're non-conforming to the OpenAPI spec. This also means I am not paying for the compute to process any of these nonsense requests. Neat.

Loving this pattern using @EffectTS_ to get type safe env configuration at runtime. Supports ephemeral environments too (see L49). Could get even cuter with more dynamic props, but I'll see how this evolves as I use it more.

Great add, especially for enterprise APIs! I turn API Shield on for basically everything to stop bots, scrappers, security scanners from hitting origin. Keep all that off of my infra.
