Rob is a Fraud
Yes i’d say so. Only plus athleticism guys they have are: Ayton Rui Thiero Bronny Bron? Vando? Hayes
Do the Lakers still have an athletic deficit?
They trade Jabari and Reed for a star they are winning it all
The Rockets have likely finalized its roster to begin the 2025-26 season. Fred VanVleet Amen Thompson Kevin Durant Jabari Smith Jr. Alperen Şengün Dorian Finney-Smith Tari Eason Reed Sheppard Steven Adams Clint Capela Josh Okogie Aaron Holiday Jae’Sean Tate Jeff Green
Jrue would be a nice player to have but not on that contract at his age
I’d grade it a B- the additions are great but feels like LAL had the opportunity to push this roster to a tier one contender with a trade netting them a starting wing while opening up roster spots as well. Open roster spots are incredibly valuable as well.
Lakers added: Ayton, LaRavia, Smart, Thiero Lost: Finney-Smith, Goodwin, Len, Morris, Milton What grade would you give LA’s summer?
I’d take KCP if it only involved Gabe and Kleber
The Lakers discussed Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Donte DiVincenzo as potential trade targets with the Grizzlies and Timberwolves, sources told @ClutchPoints. KCP talks happened after he was included in the Bane-ORL trade. MIN immediately turned down DiVincenzo talks.
Top 4 team in the West IF*** Healthy
How far will the new-look Clippers make it in the West? 👀
Austin- Chaser Smart- POA Vando- Wing Stopper Bron (When engaged) - Helper Koloko - Rim Protecting Big
What is the Lakers best defensive lineup?
Melton GPll Coffey Goodwin Brogdon ALL provide more value on a MINIMUM than these 3 guys…
To me, the thing that irritates me is the lost opportunity of having an open roster spot. There are legit guys that could be had on the minimum that offer rotational value. More value than Gabe (11M), Kleber (11M), and Vando (11M).

If you have to attach “significant assets” to get off minimum/non guaranteed deals, you probably shouldn’t be a General Manager and President of BBall Ops
The Lakers had talked with multiple teams over the last 24 hours to try and free up some money without sacrificing significant draft assets. Trade discussions never advanced past initial conversation, sources said. Goodwin is a player the Lakers liked.
Rob Pelinka is a horrible GM there is no argument against that. He continues to miss on the margins and there are no consequences for that. Adding Smart and losing Goodwin is horrible. Make a fucking consolidation trade. He should have been fired years ago.
STARTING 5: Luka Doncic Austin Reaves Dillon Brooks LeBron James Deandre Ayton BENCH ROTATION: Rui Hachimura Marcus Smart Jake Laravia Nick Richards Jordan Goodwin Jaxson Hayes Jarred Vanderbilt Bronny James Adou Thiero
PHX TRADE: LAL: Dillon Brooks / Nick Richards PHX: Gabe Vincent / Dalton Knecht / Maxi Kleber / Shake Milton / 32’ SRP Lakers get starting wing, and big men depth and save 3.4M dollars. Suns get expirings and financial flexibility, young prospect, and future draft capital.
Not a fan of Dillon Brooks as an opposing player but the skill set is needed.
