This is what the rugby researchers do in order to dictate the narrative, why I question everything from any of their science team. How can players be able to give informed consent when rugby conspires with the @BJSM_BMJ to avoid criticism?
How did researchers and the BJSM, in a hurry to counter an editorial questioning ethics, make around a 100 changes to an already published paper, changing the research question, and the year of data collection changed from 2019/20 to 2018/19 (and the data remained the same).
Exceptional performance by our Lionesses - superb - and the first post match interview and full credit given to every player and every one of the back room staff - outstanding comments.
I played rugby from primary school until I gracefully retired, aged 35. If you care about this amazing sport, please read this and join the fight. We shouldn’t be taking our sporting enjoyment at the expense of players’ brain injury. @AlixPopham

I am 🙋♂️so is @AlixPopham, I know we’d both own it… I don’t see the relevance you do here though, in fact I’d suggest that litigation and the PR efforts of Alix and others, have brought this issue to the fore, and already forced (some, limited) change. We’re not the enemy 👍
There is a legal obligation for each club to carry out risk assessments. Why is no one asking for this ? They are not allowed to say that they are complying with the rules of the governing body as a reason for breaking the law.
I’m glad Ringrose reached an informed decision to protect his long term brain health. However It shouldn’t have been his decision. WR continues to fail with player welfare. HIA isn’t fit for purpose neither are WR GRTP protocols both woefully inadequate. 😡🧠🏉😢
Much coverage at G Ringrose withdrawing from T2 after head knock. Not so much about the injustice of Huw Jones being dropped after excellent First Test. Now restored.
Death in Thai boxing - reports are coming in of another death in the sport of Thai boxing, this time caused by an extreme weight cut. Kidney failure. This practice MUST be stopped, it is harmful to boxers, and deaths such as this can be avoided.
At least the Mod accepts sub concussions cause brain damage, @WorldRugby your turn now 😔😢😡🙏❤️🏉🧠 MoD accepts British Army weapons systems can cause brain damage in soldiers | ITV News itv.com/news/2025-07-2…
In England and Wales there are 48,000 transgender men, and 48,000 transgender women. That's 0.2% of the population in total. I cannot understand the hate and sensationalism directed towards such a small population, the vast majority of whom just go about their lives in stealth.
Shameful. His lawyers won't be pleased that he claims CTE is related to not properly rehabbing concussions, as that has NEVER been studied and therefore is indisputable misinformation. The part about pathology not linking 1:1 with clinical symptoms is meaningless. It's the same…
The ladies LOVE Bear, I'm not sure if its because he's (with his siblings) the latest Andrex pup, or because he's cute, I don't know. Maybe I'm missing something? Another good pic ruined ;) Should I start an OnlyFans for him...?

Sport can’t keep denying what the research shows. We continue to tread in the footsteps of big tobacco and we know how that ended 🏉🧠⚽️😢😡 instagram.com/reel/DML6ThmOR…
Remember… “Player welfare is our number one priority” 🤔🤔🤔🐂💩😔😢😡🙏❤️🏉🧠@WorldRugby
4 weeks for a head butt?!?
Now that all this MRI data is being generated for the population as a whole, it is vital that contact sport starts to collect baseline MRI data for players who request it. news.sky.com/story/worlds-b…
Interesting case law.
BREAKING📢 A Brussels based Court has ruled that World Governing body of Cycling - The UCI - transgender policy rules are "discriminatory" & "disproportinate" so ruled in favour of a 51 Yr old trans woman who had been participating previously but was excluded following UCI
Trans athlete Anaya Bangar releases her test results, puts BCCI, ICC in a spot. The Manchester Metropolitan Uni research data suggested that Anaya’s power, strength, stamina, muscle mass, oxygen levels & lung capacity all fit within the c1s female range. onmanorama.com/sports/cricket…

Argentinian player welfare take a bow. We finally have an international team walking the talk. How many others could evidence this ? Aligning actions with words, this is the way forward 🤔👏❤️🧠🏉
