SleepWell aims to find out if treating sleep problems improves mental health in YP (14-25y). Funded by @NIHRresearch. Based at @OxPsychiatry & @OxfordHealthNHS.
The SleepWell feasibility trial results are out! 8 sessions of psychological sleep intervention led to improvements in sleep, depression, anxiety, and paranoia in young people at high risk of psychosis. Next steps: a definitive trial starting in 2024.

KEY FINDINGS: Sleep in the time of #COVID19 💤 @oxwell_study surveyed 17,000 school-aged children and adolescents in the UK during the first national lockdown. The study reinforces the importance of sleep in relation to happiness and loneliness. #WorldSleepDay
