What a lot of Christians are missing is that “chosen” doesn’t mean “better”. When I was a kid I was “chosen” to take the trash out 😂. Clearly that doesn’t mean better. Yisrael is chosen to show people who Ha’Shem is. That’s our job. That’s it. It doesn’t mean “better”.
