Only a year ago we won the FA Cup with 4 academy graduates in the XI. Now only Mainoo left and he isn’t considered a starter. How long before there are calls for him to be sold? It’s sad and very concerning for the future. Need some new Carrington players to step up this season.

Bringing him in as no.2 with a plan to be long term no.1 would be a sensible strategy. Let him settle in without all that pressure of being first choice, also see how Onana reacts to having some proper competition for the first time. Then go from there.

I think there’s a real chance Gyokeres will be at Old Trafford and in the team for the first game of the season… … the Arsenal team. Let’s be honest, this is Sporting telling them to hurry up and get a move on.

Rashford & Sancho are two of our highest earners. If they’ve both found new clubs already, their wages off the books frees up a lot of money for us to reinvest into the team. Hopefully enough to get another player in time for Arsenal 🤞
