Great to bump into @craig_ritchie68 at #CTAD24. Professor Craig Ritchie leads the PREVENT study, part-funded by Alzheimer’s Society, which aims to identify mid-life risk factors for dementia - important research with real potential to inform future prevention strategies!
Some +ve stuff, including more £££ and productivity focus for NHS and support for social care. Diagnostics investment also important. @alzheimerssoc will be scrutinising the small print to see what’s what for people with dementia and working with Gov and NHS on the 10 yr plan
