The first free summer netball session run by @EnglandNetball and funded by a Shipley Town Council Parks & Recreation grant, takes place today! Throughout the summer holidays, children in Years 4-6 can attended the netball sessions for free on a Wed 10.30-11.30am Hirst Lane MUGA.

Skate It Yourself have two skatepark takeovers planned during the school holidays. Funded through the Shipley Town Council Parks & Recreation Grant, the sessions are drop in. Taking place on July 29th & August 1st, the team will be at Hirst Wood 11am-1pm & in Roberts Park 2pm-4pm

The FREE Play in the Parks sessions funded by Shipley Town Council start on Monday, starting at Northcliffe Park. Every Monday (apart from Bank Holiday Monday when it moves to the Wednesday), one of the local parks in the area will have additional entertainment for the young ones

The Shipley Summer Special event is this Saturday, 11am-4pm! Head down to Shipley town centre where they'll be lots of free activities taking part in various locations, inc: Crowgill Park, the Kirkgate Centre, Town Hall, The Underground Market, HIVE, the Library, Saville Car Park

A festival of the senses & short walks is on offer at Valley Road on 21st June as Friends of Bradford’s Becks (FoBB) host their 2025 festival and celebration of Bradford’s Becks. Visitors are also encouraged to bring a picnic & refreshments as there are no on-site refreshments.
