Currently on the beach watching one of the best films ever made. Every year they show The Lost Boys here on the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz where it was filmed. It’s awesome how much love this movie still receives. 🖤🦇🩸

It’s annoying when people complain that horror movies are misogynistic. Yes, sometimes they are, but the genre is HORROR. It should horrify and scare. People aren’t always as sympathetic to men being killed or proud of men fighting back hence the whole final girl trope.
