Today Sheriff Carmine Marceno welcomed a group of United States Marines currently deployed to Lee County alongside @DHSgov. LCSO is grateful for the partnership we have fostered with our federal partners, and our military serving in vital support roles to assist local LEO.
FIRST RESPONDERS SAVE BABY STUCK IN CAR! Last week, deputies and fire rescue responded to an incident where a woman had accidentally locked her baby in her car. Thanks to everyone involved, the baby was safely removed from the vehicle and reunited with her mom.
🚨TRAFFIC ADVISORY🚨 Please be advised the traffic light at the intersection of U.S. 41 & W Terry St is currently out. Motorist are encouraged to treat this intersection like a four-way stop & drive with caution in the area.
