Enough with the flop BS Man Of Steel made 670M in 3 months with a clear run during comic book film’s biggest time. Superman made 500M in 3 weeks minus star power, being sandwiched between 2 blockbusters in an era of superhero fatigue and needing to rebuild DC’s brand. #win

I don’t expect Muschietti to repeat what happened with The Flash. With all the bashing I think he will have something to prove. He also never got to make HIS Batman, he just played with two prior versions. Now if he plans to use Bill Skarsgard as Batman, I take it all back.
I don’t hate the idea of Muschietti directing TB&TB. I’m a fan of the first IT, think he’s a solid horror director (which could lend well to Batman) and he directs kids well. Plus Muschietti was at the Superman premiere which makes me think he’s still in the running.

Here’s the thing. Both Barbie and Oppenheimer came out together and both made a shit ton of money. I don't think FF is going to hurt Superman’s legs much at the box office.
DC Studios has a real opportunity here to keep casting fresh faces so audiences see the characters first instead of the A list actor. It will make it feel fresh and vital.

Even more evidence it will not be Pattinson as DCU Batman. He will be filming Dune 3 and The Batman Part 2, so he wouldn’t be available for it if TB&TB went into production immediately.
