Was flipping burgers today, made $650 from selling burgers, hotdogs and pop at the local Nunavut Day weekend local softball tournament. Made a bit of money yesterday and we’ll be BBQing again tmrw. This money is going towards the U13 hockey team next season
My work toys. 2017 950M Loader starts with a key and the 2021 320 Excavator has a pass code to start
July 15, 2025. Baker Lake, Nunavut. Canada Went to the cabin just outside of town this evening, still got snow melting just below our cabin…also a tug boat and barge just pulling in to drop off dry supplies for the year . Only way in or out of here is by air or water
11:11pm in Baker Lake, yeah it doesn’t get too dark in the summer
Started the 1960’s 941 Traxcavator today, ain’t she a beauty?
June 26, 2025. 📍Baker Lake, Nunavut. Canada Beautiful day, +16° In the 1st video I’m around the middle of town, you can see where the ice is…compare it to the 2nd video and you’ll have an idea of how far out my cabin is. We’re able to have cell service at the cabin
When @aprilniego makes a quick trip to the south and brings back @McDonaldsCanada ❤️ 🤤 In my town the only fast food joints are @kfc and @pizzahut

Happy Father’s Day to my hubby, I hope you enjoyed your day. Thank you for all you do for us.❤️ @ShaneConrad13
June 15, 2025 2 skidoos heading back to town, one of the skidoos pulling sleds with another skidoo on it. Enjoying this evening around the fire pit and rebuilding my cabin that blew over a couple years ago
Put my skidoo and sleds onto the land this evening, it’s running ruff. Probably a dirty fuel filter. Will have to get that changed before next winter
Over the weekend we burned my late parents old cabin, a few years ago my dad got us kids and grandkids to tear it down. My brothers and I decided to burn it because it was a hazard to the kids with the nails sticking out

We were able to go to Pitu’qiq, our old camp…the end of Baker Lake. Growing up we used to camp there for a couple weeks at a time, lot of good memories. Got some fat lake trout from there

Had a good weekend down the lake, a lot more water and the ice got dangerous in some places. Luckily I brought my 12’ boat to cross to the land. I left the boat there for future trips
Famjam is off to the cabins 40 miles down Baker Lake till Sunday
