Congratulations to Dhruv Kithany on earning Eagle Scout honors with @boyscouts Laurel Highlands Council Troop 2 in Bridgeville. For his Eagle Scout project, Dhruv built 10 wildlife animal shelters & created a specialized turtle enclosure for Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh.

A popular sport fish comes home! After falling victim to pollution over 100 yrs ago, it was great to help @pafishandboat reintroduce more native Blue Catfish to our now cleaner rivers. About 2300 yearlings were set loose at the Leetsdale Borough Boat Launch today.

I was happy to help Char-West Council of Governments secure this new Combination Vacuum Hydro Jet Sewer Truck. Built in Dixon, Il, this state-of-the-art machine will help in flood mitigation and relieve sewer issues for at least 12 communities in our region and PennDOT.

Senate Bill 416, my legislation to modernize fundraising for non-profits by allowing them to accept cashless payments, recently passed the full Senate unanimously. I hope to see the same strong, bipartisan support when this bill reaches the House!

At the Senate Labor & Industry Committee, we advanced legislation to expedite unemployment benefits for victims of domestic violence who quit their job for personal safety reasons. HB 274, the companion to my SB 176, now heads to the full Senate for consideration.

Congratulations to my constituent Guhun on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout! For his Eagle project, Guhun setup benches at different spots in Montour Trail near Galatia and Westland Trailheads for the public to rest during the hike or bike.
