Excellent! The #caleg Assembly Privacy and Consumer Protection Committee approved my SB 7, the No Robo Bosses Act. SB 7 would require human oversight of artificial intelligence systems in the workplace to help prevent abuses. @CaliforniaLabor

On a roll! The #caleg Assembly Revenue & Taxation Committee unanimously approved SB 86, which would create more clean energy jobs in CA by extending a key program that provides tax incentives to green energy manufacturers. Also adds fusion energy to the program.

Great news! The #caleg Assembly Judiciary Committee approved my SB 69, which would equip the CA Department of Justice with expertise in artificial intelligence by creating an AI-focused team within the DOJ. Vote was 12-0. Next stop, Assembly Appropriations Committee.

Good news! The #caleg Assembly Privacy Committee today unanimously approved my SB 69, which will ensure that CA's DOJ has the legal expertise to deal with the many challenges and opportunities presented by artificial intelligence.
