Physicians, a Vietnam veteran, educators, conservationists, solar power providers, bus drivers, and Youngstown representatives took time to join me at this week’s Husted Huddle. It’s a pleasure to welcome so many Ohioans to the Capitol and hear their thoughts and experiences.

Our budget law is helping boost wages $4,000-7,200 for American workers. That’s more money for Middle America.

NPR is one of the most biased news organizations in America.   But that’s not why they got cut. They got cut because, frankly, America can't afford to continue to subsidize media outlets.

Americans are going to get every bit of information they need with or without taxpayers bankrolling NPR.   Ronald Reagan was trying to cut NPR 40 years ago. It’s 2025 now, and the U.S. debt is $36T—Congress has to stop spending money on outdated things we don’t need.

Americans asked Republicans to cut wasteful spending, and we delivered.

Had a productive meeting with @OhioSoybean, where we discussed biofuels, farm economy programs, and improving health outcomes for Ohioans.   Ohio’s farmers drive economic growth and ensure our state remains a leader in agriculture.

Had the chance to meet with young Ohioans on their visit to the Capitol.   Grateful for the work @bgca_clubs does to prepare our youth for the workforce and academic success.

Every year, interns come to serve their states in the halls of the Capitol. This week, I got to spend time with dozens of them, field their questions, and let them know we’re thankful for their service.
