Cradles to Crayons ensures that low-income families have access to basic necessities from diapers to other essential items. Throughout my career I’ve fought to fund and expand organizations like these so that every child could have a fair shot to succeed.

Pennsylvania’s coal communities have built and powered our Nation for decades. On National Miners Day, we must thank our brave coal miners for putting their health and safety on the line for all of us.

Wishing everyone in Pennsylvania and around the Nation a happy Thanksgiving. Today I am thinking of all the men and women who are away from their families serving our Nation.

My whole career I’ve fought to ensure students have access to high-quality and equitable education. As we celebrate American Education Week, I want to honor all the educators who inspire both in and out of the classroom.

The Women’s Resource Center has been a lifeline for so many women and survivors of domestic abuse in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I’m proud to have secured funding that would expand and protect these crucial services.

It was great to be in Bethlehem last week to tour Bethlehem's Industrial Quarter, which has now been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. I fought to secure funding to help preserve this important part of our Commonwealth’s history.
