Worship Pastor in SW London, Husband, & Father of two boys. Ask me about advice for churches in youth ministry, worship, Churchsuite, & websites.
Starting a new ministry role: Fixing embedded issues (should be done ASAP) and casting new vision (should understand the culture first) are very different things. But often they are one of the same so there's a blurry line between them!
Controversial opinion. People who take on new leadership roles (for example in a church or school) and say “I’m not going to change anything for a year to see how thing work” are missing the only opportunity they might ever have had to change anything. Do you agree?
Absolute monsters.

Hey @TfL @Citymapper @googlemaps any fix for this yet?
@TfL both @Citymapper and @googlemaps have stopped including bus route 156 running times this week. Making travel planning in SW London very tricky!
The District Line is suspended between Wimbledon & Parsons Green due to a vehicle on the embankment between Southfields & East Putney.

Some of us have decided to read text messages sent from the last moments of people’s lives in Israel. Yes, this is disturbing and heartbreaking, but it’s something I have decided to do in hopes it can continue to convey the depth of pain and suffering the Jewish people and the…

I hope we see a very quick redaction from Center Parcs. Making people effectively homeless for a night is stupid. I feel very sorry for the poor marketing team who have to deal with such a messed-up decision. @CenterParcsUK
Hi @virginmedia, any idea what time today I can expect my QuickStart package?

I’m being asked to advertise children’s, youth & family ministry jobs daily at the moment. Many churches advertising for the second or third time & still struggling to appoint. The supply is definitely not meeting the demand & sadly that could mean poor appointments…

We need a referendum on the net zero madness. I am excited to launch a new campaign with @TiceRichard called @PowerNotPoverty. The Richmond Greens don't have to worry about paying their gas bills — but millions of ordinary people do. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…

And on top of it all [the world right now], Sister Catherine Wybourne, aka @DigitalNun, has gone to glory. I will miss her so much. Her death was expected and prepared for, but it still feels like a shock. She was a kind and wickedly fun nun, a true sister, as well as a Sister.
