Our team spend many hours observing the released #WhiteTailedEagles to learn about their behaviour including diet. During a recent monitoring session they were lucky enough to capture this great clip of one of the eagles catching cuttlefish in the Solent Estuary. @RoyDennisWF

A glider in the Peak District recently found himself flying alongside one of the released #WhiteTailedEagles - G813. He managed to capture some footage of this very special moment. Thanks to Derbyshire & Lancashire Gliding Club for sharing. @RoyDennisWF @ForestryEngland
Some great action shots of G463 chasing an Osprey captured by Joe Downing. The pursuing #whitetailedeagle forces the Osprey to drop it’s freshly caught fish. Piracy is an key feature of eagle diet, but also an important ecosystem function of these apex predators. @RoyDennisWF

Fish are the preferred prey of #WhiteTailedEagles even in winter when they are harder to find, like this fish that got stranded in a flooded field. As the birds approach breeding age we see them living largely in wetland areas with abundant fish. 📷@DanSayers66658 @RoyDennisWF
