2nd MOUNTAIN RESCUE UNDERWAY AT PINNACLE PEAK Scottsdale Fire Department using a big wheel operation to remove a 3 rd hiker overcome by heat. Technical rescue crews from Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Glendale fire departments are currently on scene.



MOUNTAIN RESCUE UNDERWAY AT PINNACLE PEAK At approximately 11:15 AM, Technical rescue crews from Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Glendale fire departments are currently on scene. Crews are working to reach and assist two adult hikers, symptoms of dehydration, weakness, and illness.

BREAKING: Mountain Rescue Underway in Scottsdale Rescue crews from Scottsdale & Phoenix are on the Gateway Loop Trail (18333 N Thompson Peak Pkwy) responding to a female hiker reportedly suffering a seizure. Paramedics will treat & stabilize her before using a UTV or “Big Wheel”
WORKING FIRE – 8550 E MCDOWELL RD, SCOTTSDALE At approximately 08:24am the Scottsdale Fire Department responded to a working fire at an apartment structure located at 8550 E McDowell . A first alarm was requested we have allot of fire units in the area. Please be safe

Working House Fire - 15:11 At 15:11, crews on scene working fire at 8508 E Appaloosa Trail. Firefighters quickly located the fire on the rear patio. Hand lines were deployed, and crews cleared the home while battling the flames. This is an active scene. Traffic is restricted.

The Scottsdale Fire Department is proud to announce the official launch of its ground ambulance transportation service. On Sunday, December 15, 2024, Rescue 602 will respond to its first call, marking the beginning of a new chapter in emergency medical services for the community.

Scottsdale Fire Department A Shift North East Deputy, Ladder 611 and Engine 610 our technical rescue team, responded to a call involving a dog that had fallen into a tube.
Scottsdale Fire technical rescue teams assisted a mountain biker off the trail. Crews hiked 3 miles into the trail. The patient was taken off the mountain on a UTV. He was experiencing heat exhaustion, while riding his bike in over 100 degree temperatures.




Gate fire is still active in North Scottsdale. Please stay clear of the area. We have over 150 firefighters working on containment .
