This made my day
Good morning! It’s Wednesday. Happy New Comic Book Day. This excellent cover/back cover pin-up is by George Wilson. The interior script is by Gaylord Du Bois, with art by Jesse Marsh. Gold Key’s Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Tarzan #134, March 1963.
I can't think of a movie with more quotable lines than The Dark Knight.

Thank you so much! Wow. Very kind!
So I haven’t finished this volume yet, I basically picked it up to read the story by @ScottMcCreaWest , which was a lot of fun, but if the rest is as enjoyable as what I have read so far, I heartily recommend it to anyone looking for some light Western adventure.
Battle for the Planet of the Apes, read when I was about nine.
What’s the book you read that made you want to be a writer? Mine is Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton when I was 9 years old.

The Naked Jungle is magnificent.
I've seen THE NAKED JUNGLE at least a dozen times. Wonderful movie.
Give me an example of the best anyone has ever looked in a movie.

Share one of your favorite action films from the 90's! Why, The Rocketeer, of course!

Truth.
The West is an archetype of America. A story we've told ourselves about ourselves since the first Cowboys rode across the plains. As a genre, the popularity rises and falls, is built and deconstructed again and again, but endures as a staple of the American myth.
Hurray for @DawsonWords!
My first published short story is out today! Available in paperback, hard cover, or Kindle. a.co/d/g1lxG4O
Cover Reveal: Here's the the next book in my Marshal Ezra Flint series, Cry Flint! I'm having a great time with these western adventures. Here, Flint clashes with a crazed preacher in the remote town of Paradise. Hell of a lot of fireworks. I think you'll like it! Out soon!

Never understood why Simon MacCorkindale wasn't a huge star. He's one of the best things in Death on the Nile, which also happens to be the best Poirot film of the bunch. I love Jaws 3-D. It may be nostalgia talking, but, like @DaveBuzan, it's good fun.
"Jaws 3-D" was released on this day in 1983. Guilty pleasure sequel (doubling as both a disaster movie and unofficial remake of "Revenge of the Creature") from production designer/director Joe Alves and screenwriters Richard Matheson and Carl Gottlieb. Highlights: Fun…
City of God is one of the great books; I once spent a year with it. A foundational text for me.
Reading City of God and there's a really interesting section where Augustine writes that if a woman took a vow of chastity but was assaulted, it doesn't break her vow because the activity was against her will. It speaks to a profoundly compassionate view at a time when
I don't understand this. Seriously. Shows are cancelled all the time. Where was the solidarity when Have Gun, Will Travel or Bat Masterson or Bonanza were cancelled? Or The Avengers? The Man From UNCLE? Television shows are cancelled all the time. Somebody make this make sense.
Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers and Jon Stewart will appear on ‘THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT’ tonight to show solidarity after Colbert’s show was cancelled. (Source: @latenightercom)
Soitinly!
Somehow this gem showed up in the midst of all my glamour girls......do you know who it is?

I love this movie unreservedly.
