Incredibly honoured to have been involved as a production consultant on Silent Friend, the upcoming feature by the brilliant Ildikó Enyedi—premiering at the Venice Film Festival later this summer, starring Léa Seydoux and Tony Leung Chiu-wai.

J’ai enfin cassé la streak maudite de 2025 avec A Ladder de Scott Barley. Enfin un bon film, quel soulagement ! Et quel film… Quelle expérience !
Non mais l’enchaînement catastrophique
Spectral Spaces, Lost Beings: A Scott Barley Retrospective I’m delighted to announce a retrospective of my work at this year’s Lago Film Festival, July 18th to 26th. The screenings will be held late at night, outdoors, overlooking the lake and hills — under a blanket of stars.

Special thanks to Digna Sinke and @ScottBarleyFilm for providing beautiful introductions to their works, and Lucien Castaing-Taylor for taking the time to visit our cinematheque and sharing with our audience his filmmaking process.
VISIONS WITHIN NATURE has come to a close. Preparing this programme has been such a rewarding curatorial experience. Deeply grateful to the participating filmmakers and our audience who came out to experience their works on the big screen.
I'm thrilled to announce that my latest short film, A Ladder, will have its theatrical premiere next month in Freiburg, Germany, screening with Eraserhead as part of aka-filmclub's in memoriam retrospective celebrating the life and visionary work of David Lynch.

Check this out - possibly my favourite work of Barley's I've seen. Absolutely dazzled by how night is rendered

Thank you to everybody who attended the screening of Sleep Has Her House at La Filmothèque du Quartier Latin in Paris tonight. It was a full house. Thank you to @karhozat & @Ah_Ben_C_BIEN at @revue_tsounami for making this screening happen, and of course, to La Filmothèque!
