I collected water samples from the Lort Dene, a hidden river from Leazes Park to the River Tyne. I'm studying its bacterial diversity, which has never been done before. I also sampled the Victorian Tunnels' iron-rich water. Stay tuned for interesting results! #WeAreNCL #placement
